Permanent and touring exhibits have to work on several levels at once. They need to tell a clear story, move visitors through the space efficiently, support interpretive content with corresponding engaging experiences, respect the budget and schedule, and be designed in a way that fabricators, installers, venues, and operations teams can actually execute.

I offer design direction and creative producing support for exhibit teams that need help turning ambitious ideas into clear, buildable plans. Recent projects include Universal Theme Parks: The Exhibition, the Wondrous Space and Body Odyssey galleries at The Franklin Institute, and the refresh of The Franklin Institute’s Electricity gallery.

My role can include shaping the visitor journey, developing the visual language, coordinating designers and vendors, reviewing design deliverables, identifying production risks, preparing stakeholder presentations, and helping teams make the practical decisions that protect the story, the audience experience, and the creative intent.
